WORK WITH US

We are looking for a production employee for a craft you can be proud of

Do you enjoy working with your hands, thinking independently, and working with raw materials that smell of quality and carry the spirit of traditional craftsmanship? Do you get energy from a workday where you use both your physical strength and your mind – and where you are not standing at an assembly line doing the same task all day? Then read on.

We are looking for someone who wants to stay with us for many years

At Linolie & Pigment, we are looking for a reliable and responsible colleague who can become part of a dedicated team that produces linseed oil paint and other products of the highest quality.

You will discover that producing linseed oil paint, oils, and varnishes is a specialized craft, and you will learn a traditional trade from the ground up that requires precision, physical work, and independent thinking.

You will be trained in every part of the process – from mixing pigments and “grinding colours on the mill,” to emulsifying paint and producing varnish. It is hands-on work where you will see and feel the results of your efforts every single day.

We invest significant time and resources in training. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is not seeking a temporary stop or a short-term position, but rather a profession and a workplace where you can contribute and leave your personal mark for years to come.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can work independently and think constructively

  • Thrives with physical work and enjoys using their body

  • Is good with their hands and enjoys practical processes

  • Is not afraid to get dirty

  • Can maintain an overview – even when things get busy

  • Is reliable, responsible, and someone we can depend on in everyday work

  • Values quality, care, and a workplace where colleagues help each other

Experience from production, craftsmanship, or industry is an advantage – but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have the willingness, curiosity, and motivation to learn the trade.

We offer you:

  • A permanent, stable job in a healthy and well-run company

  • Thorough training in a unique craft that you won’t find in many places

  • A varied workday – you won’t be doing the same task all day

  • A well-functioning team with a good atmosphere, humour, and a high pace without unnecessary rush

  • Everyday life in a company with roots in history and its eyes on the future

Practical information:

  • Full-time: 37 hours per week

  • Working hours: Weekdays 8:00–16:30, Friday until 15:00

  • Workplace: Øsbygade 46, 6100 Haderslev

  • Send your application to: Dorte Jensen – dj@linolie.dk

  • Questions: Feel free to call Dorte at +45 75 75 23 82

Please feel free to share this post with someone who is good with their hands – and interested in learning a rare and traditional craft!
