Color Mixer Wanted – A Craft for Life
Do you know the difference between ochre and umber? Can you calculate a mixing ratio without breaking a sweat – with or without a calculator? And would you like an active job with plenty going on, where quality matters more than quantity? Then read on:
We are looking for a color mixer who wants to stay with us for many years
At Linolie & Pigment, we are looking for a reliable, responsible employee to become part of our small, dedicated team. Mixing colors in linseed oil products is not an ordinary job – it is a refined, historical craft. You will receive thorough training, and the work requires precision and a genuine interest in nerding out about colors at a high level.
We will invest significant resources in your training, which is why we are looking for someone who is not seeking a temporary job, but who has the ambition to stay and grow with us for many years to come.
We are looking for someone who:
Thrives with repetition, structure, and precise processes
Doesn’t mind getting color on their hands and clothes (it happens all the time!)
Has a good eye for colors, shades, and fine details
Works independently, thinks constructively, and can stay focused
Is comfortable with numbers and mixing ratios – calculators are absolutely fine
Values stability, quality, and teamwork with a good pace but no rush
Is reliable, responsible, and someone we can count on – every day
Is not looking for a project position or a stepping stone, but a real craft to practice for many years
Mixing colors in linseed oil products is a craft. It takes time to learn, but we will teach you everything if you have the will and the curiosity.
We offer you:
A permanent, stable position in a company that has been established for many years
Thorough training in a rare and specialized craft
A workday with plenty of activity — and a bit of chaos
A small team that looks out for one another and enjoys working together
A company firmly rooted in both history and the future
Practical details:
Full-time position, 37 hours per week
Working hours: weekdays 8:00–16:30, Fridays until 15:00
Workplace address: Øsbygade 46, 6100 Haderslev
Send your application to Dorte Jensen at dj@linolie.dkIf you have any questions about the position, you are very welcome to call Dorte at +45 75 75 23 82.
Please feel free to share this posting with someone who has a nose for colors and a good set of hands!
