This beautiful house on Bornholm, dating back to the early 1900s, has been carefully restored by Mads and Nanna Löwe in the spirit in which it was originally built.

“We’ve gone all the way to the roots with every single detail, and we haven’t taken shortcuts or started using materials that weren’t used back in the day,” Nanna Explains

That includes, for example, lime paint on the walls, linseed oil paint on the woodwork, pigmented satin wood oil with four layers of lacquer on the floors, and the recreated panels and moldings around every doorframe.
