Lakpolish is used for further fixation of Satin Wood Oil.
Lakpolish is a product we have developed for Satin Wood Oil, as you may find that some colours contain so much pigment that less smearing can take place. To avoid this, the colour can be fixed using our Lakpolish. Once Satin Wood Oil has cured (at least 48 hours under favorable conditions), Lakpolish can be applied on top of the cured oil. Lakpolish reaches 10-12 m² pr liter and the product is applied in the same way as Satin Wood Oil or with a brush.

Apply Lakpolish in the same way as Satin Wood Oil or use a brush. Let the product work for 5 minutes, not more or less, afterwards you can start polishing excess Lakpolish off with a cotton cloth. Afterwards begin to polish the surface with a new clean cloth until the surface is "dry" on the entire surface. Leave the surface to cure for a few days. If desired, the process can be repeated the next day. You can use the item carefully after 3 days, but the product will be completely cured after 3-4 weeks. Never leave wet objects on the surface for longer time because it can leave stains. The brush is cleaned in turpentine together with water and soap. Lakpolish will make a skin in the can, filtration can be necessary. Use a nylon sock to filter the paint before use.
