The Kåver – also known as "Æ Kåver" – is a historic sea mark located on Kåverbjerget, south of Sønderho on the island of Fanø. Originally erected in 1624, it served as an important navigation point for ships sailing into Sønderho through the Wadden Sea.
During an autumn storm on October 19, 1935, the original Kåver was toppled. After several attempts to reconstruct the sea mark, it was rebuilt in 2011 as a faithful replica of the original. The current Kåver stands 14.5 meters tall and is painted in the distinctive red colour Italienskrød.
