Connie Connie Café

Connie-Connie is an experimental café located inside the Copenhagen Contemporary art center on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen. The café is the result of a collaboration between design studio Tableau and Australian designer Ari Prasetya, who together have created a space where furniture functions not only practically, but also as works of art.

The interior features pieces by 25 different artists, architects, and designers — each contributing their own interpretation of chairs, benches, and stools. All furniture is made from surplus Douglas fir provided by Danish wood flooring company Dinesen

The blue and green tables are treated with Linolie & Pigment’s pigmented Satin Wood Oil. The oil highlights the wood’s texture and provides a rich finish that also enhances durability and protects against everyday wear. The coloured oil contributes both functionally and aesthetically to the overall look.
