It is quite simple to stir your own linseed paint – and the benefits are plenty! In the instruction video below, Thor shows how to go on step by step by mixing colour paste, double boiled linseed oil and siccative. You start by adding a quantity of colour paste to an empty container. Next up, you add a small amount of siccative – this step can be skipped. Afterwards, you add a small amount of double boiled linseed oil and stir the mixture together. It is important to avoid the paint clumping. Repeat this process by adding more double boiled linseed oil until the right amount of oil is added to the mixture.
